Refunds and cancellation

How to stop monthly billing, report a payment problem, or request a refund for Bizman's digital service.

Updated 18 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-18

1. Stop future renewals

An organisation owner can select Stop renewal at period end in Organization → Billing before the next billing date. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid period shown in Billing, then renewal stops. There is no cancellation fee or annual commitment. You can resume renewal before that period ends.

If you cannot access that control, contact support through our Contact page. We will verify your authority and record when we received the request. A request received before renewal is due will be treated as timely even if we process it later. Deleting the app shortcut, signing out, removing a member or simply not using Bizman does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; a refund of a previous charge is considered separately.

Access-unit reductions apply at the next renewal without a refund or credit for the paid period. Increases activate after a prorated payment for the additional units. You must reduce allocated members, active invitations and extra sessions to fit a smaller quantity. Cancelling a software subscription does not cancel a purchase order or other agreement you entered into with your own supplier or customer.

2. When a refund is available

Except where required by law, this policy or a separate written agreement, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds or prorated credits for unused days, unused access units or voluntary mid-month cancellation after the paid service has begun. This is a monthly digital subscription; no physical product needs to be returned and no return-shipping fee applies.

We will correct and refund confirmed duplicate charges, overcharges and renewal charges taken after an effective timely cancellation. If paid access cannot be supplied, we will refund the amount for the service not supplied. For defective or materially deficient service, we will provide the remedy required by law, which may be correction of the service or a reasonable refund. We do not make these remedies subject to a blanket no-refunds rule.

3. Your statutory rights

If ECTA's cooling-off right applies to your purchase of services, you may cancel without reason or penalty within seven days after concluding the agreement and receive a full refund within 30 days of cancellation. ECTA excludes this particular cooling-off right for services that actually begin with your consent before that seven-day period ends. At paid checkout we ask expressly for immediate service commencement; we rely on that exception only where you gave that consent and the service actually began. Other statutory remedies still apply.

Where applicable, ECTA also provides a cancellation remedy if required information or the opportunity to review, correct or withdraw from the transaction was not supplied. The CPA may provide further rights for deficient services, direct marketing or cancellation of a fixed-term agreement. Those rights, their statutory notice periods and applicable refund deadlines take precedence over this policy. We do not assume that all business customers are excluded from consumer law.

4. Request a refund or report an error

All support is handled online. Email the support address on our Contact page with your organisation name, account email, invoice or payment reference, payment date and amount, and a short explanation of the problem. Tell us if you also want to stop future renewal. Never send a full card number, CVV, password or one-time bank code. We may request proportionate information to verify your authority and the transaction.

Please report issues promptly to help us investigate. Our request for prompt reporting does not shorten a legal claim period. We review requests as promptly as reasonably practicable and will explain if further investigation is needed. An investigation does not postpone a statutory refund deadline. If we decline a request, we will explain why and you may ask us to reconsider with further information.

5. How money is returned

Approved card refunds are submitted through Peach Payments to the original payment method, normally within five South African business days of approval and always within any applicable legal deadline. Your issuer controls when the credit appears; we cannot guarantee its posting time. Ask us for the refund reference if it has not appeared. We do not charge a refund administration fee for a refund due under this policy or law.

If the original payment method cannot receive a refund, we will agree a lawful, securely verified alternative with the entitled payer. We will not send a card refund to an unrelated person's account. If a chargeback or dispute is already open, tell us so that we can coordinate the response and avoid duplicate reimbursement. Contacting us is encouraged but does not take away your right to contact your bank, a competent regulator or a court.
